Fey Alves
Partnership Director
Fernanda is a Brazilian journalist, Public Relations, and writer. After 16 years working as a seasoned results-driven Communications and Marketing Manager for technology, gaming, and sports industries, she decided it was time to make a career transition and moved to California, where she earned her MBA degree. As the VPPR of Rough Writers Toastmasters Club, Fernanda works alongside writers, creatives and entrepreneurs always advocating for kindness as a path to social change. Fey (as her friends call her) tries to always focus on the solutions and looks towards hers and the worlds challenges with a positive approach. Throughout practicing Crossfit, she learned that she does not need to try to always be perfect and that every little detail can mean improvement and make a difference (either it is putting another pound on the bar or listening to a friend). As our partnership director, Fey helps the Become Odara community to vote with their dollar by bringing companies that are working to minimize their impact on our environment and/or giving back to local communities.
